On-Off Accessories for Electric Water Pumps (automatic start/stop) - Sale & Service
The starts & stops of an electric pump are managed in different ways:
the most common is the Presscontrol, also called Pressure Switch or Pressure Controller;
These electronic devices are studied for the control and protection of electric pumps They replace the traditional expansion tank system, protecting the pump in the case of a water shortage.
They can simultaneously detecting both the pressure and the flow, as well as automatically managing the pump operation. Automatic pressure switches start the pump after a pressure decrease (taps opening) and stop it when the water flow interrupts at the maximum pressure level of the electric pump (taps closing).
There are 3 factors that determine the right choice of a presscontrol:
2)The calibration of the start up: there are fixed calibration presscontrol and adjustable calibration presscontrol.
3)Maximum pump pressure: the maximum pressure of the pump must be 1.5: 2Bar higher than the start up pressure.
How to choose the right presscontrol (pressure switch)?
Ex: If the difference in height is 10 m (1 bar), the presscontrol must have a start up between 1.5 bar and 2 bar.
