How to install close-coupled pumps?
Installation diagrams
Practical connection diagrams that are used to install the single-phase close coupled submersible pumps. Before purchasing it is important to check whether the condenser is integrated in the submersible pump or not. Submersible pumps can be installed with manual operation (switch or plug control) or automatic (command from presscontrol or other devices).
N.B.In each description it is specified where the condenser (capacitor) is located.

Pump with integrated condenser/capacitor

Diagram 1 - integrated condenser : the submersible pump operates with the electric current. In this case, the pump is activated by plug, or via two-pole switch. Generally, this kind of system is used to irrigate or to fill tanks in manual way.
Diagram 2 - integrated condenser : The presscontrol (also known as pressure controller) menages the submersible pump. This type of system is used to pressurize standard water systems: the pump came on with the faucet open and turned off with faucet off.

Diagram 3 - external condenser: the submersible pump operates with the electric current. In this case, the pump is activated by plug, or via two-pole switch. Generally, this kind of system is used to irrigate or to fill tanks in manual way.
Scheme valid for Speroni, Euromatic, BBC, Pippohydro, Espa monobloc submersible pumps without float switch.

This scheme deals with single and three-phase pumps:
1x230 Single phase submersible pumps with integred condenser
1x230 Single phase submersible pumps with external condenser
3x400 Three-phase submersible pumps

Level and Drycontrol electrical control panels
Attention: with the use of (single-phase or three-phase) Drycontrol electrical panels, the tank will always be filled by electric float switch.
Constant pressure - Frequency modulation
In order to have water with constant pressure (at home or in the garden), your system needs a variable frequency drive to vary the power according to the actual withdrawal of water. For this reason it is very important to choose the right one.
There are three differnt type of speed device:
