Product: GT Ball check valve for sewage - Drainage system accessories
The ball check valves with spherical obturator are extremely reliable both vertically and horizontally, thanks to their design.
The basic purpose of any check valve is to permit flow in one direction. Ball check valves operate with much less friction than the standard ones.
When water flows through the valve the ball slides away from the flow and along guide rails leaving the inlet completely clear for the fluid to pass, so there is no chance of clogging.
To obtain both perfect sealing and silent closure, the "ball" is made of phenolic resin or coated with nitrile rubber.

The special design allows the ball to rotate freely. This prevens excessive deterioration in one specific place and therefore promoting a longer life, without maintenance.
In hydraulics the ball check valves are used because they are able to perform their function even in the presence of wastewater or liquids with solids. These ball check ends screwed valves guarantee any pressure drop.
